The list below represents farmers and artisans that are in the SFC Farmers’ Market Triangle as participants. Many sellers come and go seasonally, so check complete descriptions on our main market website, or sign up for our weekly enewsletter, Rise and Shine to get updates.
The Triangle market is Austin’s largest mid-week market with the most offerings of farmers’ harvests direct from the fields. It is a fun, easy-going mid-week market that includes all the variety of a Saturday market, but just in a smaller, more intimate selection. Sitting on a 2-acre park, the Wednesday SFC Farmers’ Market at The Triangle features great food vendors--pick up something to enjoy a picnic on the grass and listen to live music as a relaxing mid-week routine. Bring an ice chest, and keep your vegetables, fruits, meats, cheeses, honey, coffee, breads and more fresh before you go home.
This market features a water splash area for kids, so bring a change of clothing and towel in the summer.
The SFC (Sustainable Food Center) Farmers’ Market at The Triangle is part of SFC’s mission to cultivate a healthy community by strengthening the local food system and improving access to local, nutritious, affordable food. SFC is a local non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization. SFC has been involved in getting locally grown food to local family tables in the Austin area since 1975. The SFC Farmers Market, including locations at The Triangle, Sunset Valley, and Downtown is the largest certified* growers-only farmers’ market in the state, with more than 110 farmers and other vendors.
*The SFC Farmers’ Market is not only certified by the Texas Department of Agriculture, but also by the more rigorous Texas Certified Farmers Market Corporation, a statewide professional agricultural trade organization that requires farmers’ markets to have 51% or more farmers at their markets.
